Why plant shops stock it
Rhaphidophora foraminifera is still little known among plant buyers, which gives shops something new to offer. Give it a pole to reach its perforated mature form. See also the rare variegated form.
Ordering for your shop

- Payment: Wise or bank transfer after we confirm availability.
- Arrival guarantee: plants that arrive dead are replaced once, shipped with your next order. Report within 48 hours with an unboxing video and photos.
How we pack it
Plants are cleaned, treated against pests at the quarantine office and packed bare-root in sphagnum moss, or in tissue for countries that do not accept moss, inside ventilated boxes.
Care after arrival
- Potting: pot it within a day of arrival in a light, well-draining aroid mix and keep it slightly moist, not wet, for the first two weeks.
- Light: bright, indirect light. Direct sun fades the colour and can scorch the leaves.
- Water: water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix is dry. Soggy soil causes root rot.
- Humidity and warmth: 60% humidity or more and temperatures above 18 °C (65 °F).
- Support: a moss pole or plank for climbing.
- Pets: like most aroids, the sap contains calcium oxalate and irritates pets if chewed. Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
