Why plant shops stock it

Verrucosum is one of the most loved velvet Philodendron and a parent of many hybrids. It needs warmth and high humidity to show its best leaves.

Ordering for your shop

  • Lead time: export documents take 7–14 business days. Delivery then takes 2–3 days to Singapore and about a week to the United States or Europe by DHL Express.

  • Payment: Wise or bank transfer after we confirm availability.
  • Arrival guarantee: plants that arrive dead are replaced once, shipped with your next order. Report within 48 hours with an unboxing video and photos.

How we pack it

Plants are cleaned, treated against pests at the quarantine office and packed bare-root in sphagnum moss, or in tissue for countries that do not accept moss, inside ventilated boxes.

Care after arrival

  • Potting: pot it within a day of arrival in a light, well-draining aroid mix and keep it slightly moist, not wet, for the first two weeks.
  • Light: bright, indirect light. Direct sun fades the colour and can scorch the leaves.
  • Water: water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix is dry. Soggy soil causes root rot.
  • Humidity: high humidity, 70% or more for the best leaves.
  • Support: a moss pole.
  • Pets: like most aroids, the sap contains calcium oxalate and irritates pets if chewed. Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
