How we pack it
Plants are cleaned, treated against pests at the quarantine office and packed bare-root in sphagnum moss, or in tissue for countries that do not accept moss, inside ventilated boxes.
Care after arrival
- Potting: a well-draining mix with peat or coco, perlite and bark.
- Light: medium to bright, indirect light.
- Water: water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix is dry. Soggy soil causes root rot.
- Temperature: 18–27 °C (65–80 °F).
- Support: a stake or moss pole.
- Pets: like most aroids, the sap contains calcium oxalate and irritates pets if chewed. Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
