How we pack it
Plants are cleaned, treated against pests at the quarantine office and packed bare-root in sphagnum moss, or in tissue for countries that do not accept moss, inside ventilated boxes.
Care after arrival
- Potting: a well-drained mix; we grow ours in sphagnum moss, perlite and pine bark.
- Light: bright, indirect light; no direct sun.
- Water: about once a week, twice in hot summer weather and much less in winter.
- Humidity and warmth: 60% humidity or more and temperatures above 18 °C (65 °F).
- Pets: like most aroids, the sap contains calcium oxalate and irritates pets if chewed. Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
