Follow this care advice to keep your Philodendron Mayoi healthy and bring the tropics indoors.

Light: Bright, indirect light is best; direct sunlight will scorch leaves.
Water when the top inch of soil dries. Root rot can be avoided with excellent pot drainage.
Prefers high humidity. Regular misting or humidification promotes growth.
Ideal temperatures are 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid rapid temperature swings and cold drafts.
The soil should be rich and draining. Peat, perlite, and orchid bark work well.
A balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half the specified dosage should be applied regularly during the growing season.
Prune occasionally to encourage bushier growth and remove yellowing or dead leaves.
Pest Control: Check for aphids and spider mites. Treat with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
