This rare Philodendron Florida Ghosts is a perfect candidate to help decorate your home garden. This plant has a unique way of transforming as it grows. That’s where the name is adapted from. Its new leaves come out as pure white, which later gradually fade to pale green and turn into whole lime green or green as they mature.

This transformation takes a few weeks or so. It is a climbing plant, so in order to grow firm and pretty, Philodendron Florida Ghost might need a pole or stake to hold onto. This plant needs to be kept out of the reach of children and pets because it contains poison.

Care Guide

Use well-draining soil with a mix of perlite, sphagnum moss and bark and or peat. This plant requires a warm environment with a high humidity level of 60-80%.You also need to put them in bright indirect lightning to get the white color of new leaves. The brighter the light they get, the more the leaves will turn white.

We already tried to put them in the shady place. They leave more green than the plants that get bright light. You can try it by yourself.

Is Philodedron Florida Ghost and mint the same?

Philodendron florida ghost and philodendron florida ghost mint are literally the same plant. Before turning green, the mint plants will sprout new mint green leaves. If you think they are different plants, you are wrong. They are the same plants.
